David began his career in the British military, where he served for 10 years managing communications, IT and cyber security onboard the nations nuclear submarines.
After transitioning from the military, David has spent the last 12 years building and leading security teams across various sectors. His expertise spans the design and implementation of Security Operations Centres (SOCs) for local government, internal corporate teams, and managed service providers.
Daniel’s journey began in the British Army, where he specialised in the development, monitoring, and management of secure communications platforms, both in the UK and on overseas deployments.
After 4 years in the military, Daniel transitioned into the cyber security sector. Over the years, he has successfully helped build and develop Security Operations Centers (SOCs) across a wide range of industries, including Travel, Legal, Financial, and Government sectors.
Daniel’s expertise is further reinforced by his academic achievements, including a postgraduate certificate in Wireless Security Engineering. He also holds certifications from SANS, Microsoft and AWS.
